I'm writing to her. all prisoners love mail and her story hits close to home for me with the children being taken away. It's heartbreaking. - Aimee

Use Wiegand, not Sanderson

The Bureau of Prisons is not using Alice's married name (Sanderson) as she anticipated, but instead is using Alice's maiden name (Wiegand). The above blurb has been changed to reflect this development. Wiegand was Alice's last name when the case against her began, and it is the name that should be used when writing Alice. Apologies for any confusion. This was a surprise to both Alice and her family. - Vanessa Nelson
